Colleges Change “Decision Day” Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Colleges around the country are adjusting their “Decision Day” (or deposit deadline) — the date when students who have been accepted make their deposits. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, several colleges have moved their “Decision Day” from May 1, 2020 to June 1, 2020 or later.

Concordia University – New deposit deadline: June 1
San Antonio, TX

St. Edwards University – New deposit deadline: June 1
Austin, TX

Southwestern University – New deposit deadline: June 1
Georgetown, TX

Texas Christian University – New deposit deadline: June 1

If you are planning to attend college in a state other than Texas, you should visit the college’s website or check out National Association of College Admission Counseling’s (NACAC) new tool that allows you to search for changes to the deposit deadline by state and/or name of institution.
